Fundraiser Frenzy

We are currently undergoing a state of Fundraiser Frenzy.  The trip expenses are $1500.00 per team member so we're trying to ease the financial burden a bit. The tickets are booked so we have already spent close to $7000.00...I know...it's crazy!  But we've had some fun ideas for fundraisers and we are off and running with most of them.  Some past...some present...some future!!! So here it is:

PAST ~ Thank you to anyone who was at the Married Couples Retreat at ABT with Gary Smalley.  We were able to clear over $400.00 in snacks to you lovely people.  We hope the retreat was ALL you hoped it would be!!!

PRESENT ~ Tastefully Simple!  Our consultant Rachel Eckberg has set up a page on her website for us to place orders...you can place them right there...pay for them on a secure website...and the product will be delivered to your home.  Follow this simple instructions and prepare to enjoy some awesome food!

PRESENT ~ March Madness for Missions!  You have to hurry on this one!!!

We will be conducting a fundraiser using the brackets for the NCAA men’s basketball national tournament.  A group will be made online at CBS Sports.  An invite including group name and password will be sent to your email address upon sign up and payment.  The overall winner of the entire tournament will be rewarded in gift cards.

Entry Fee: $10 per bracket

Dates: Brackets must be complete between March 11^th and March 13^th.

The Tournament will go from March 15^th through April 2^nd.

Prize: Over $100 in gift cards

FUTURE ~ SAM'S CLUB

We will be out at Sam's Club Saturday, March 10th (10 - 5ish)....come out and see us...spin the prize wheel and hear more about our trip

FUTURE ~ DINNER AND A MOVIE

For those of you who have frequented our Pasta Dinners for past trips...thank you!  And here's your chance for another night out!!!  This is going to be a crazy night. I am so nervous about this one...the worst thing in this picture would be to run out of food sooooooo I am asking that you give us a verbal reservation  (330) 329-2996 or an email reservation (hondomissions@gmail.com) if you even think you might be coming.  Please know that you can still come if you find out at the last minute you are available.

Bring the kids...the grandkids....I hear Dolphin Tale is an awesome movie.  We will be showing it on the big screen in the Bridge auditorium at ABT (Akron Baptist Temple ~ 2324 Manchester Road, Akron, OH  44314)

And if you want to donate bake goods...please call us...we appreciate any and all donations.

Sooooo....that's Friday, March 30th 5:00 ~ 9:00 for the entire event!  Dinner is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 children under 9 with a $25.00 max for an immediate family (Mom, Dad, Kids)

Tables are available for $20.00 if you want to bring your spring cleaning down to sell. We will also offer haul away service so you don't have to figure out what to do with the stuff you didn't sell and that you are tired of looking at and you definitely do NOT want it back in your home ever again!!!!

So there you have it!  Fundraiser Frenzy!  Seriously, we so appreciate all that you do to support our trips to Honduras!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  We love serving together with you and being the hands and feet of Jesus as we are sent out to make Him known in Honduras!
